I live in Croatia and I am student of oenology. I found about this event on Facebook.

My first experiences with Croatian wine were Istrian. I was very impressed by the whites and disappointed by the reds. From there, I sought out better — and more expensive — wines from Istria and Dalmatia and continued to be impressed with quality and unique character.

I also saw a notice on Facebook. This is my introduction to Croatian wine. I was wondering because it was near Italy whether the climate would be similar. The grapes included in the wines thus far are different though from Italian grapes.

Thank you for the fine presentation. We have had Croation wines through the American Wine Society and a local wine shop here in Northern Virginia. We have had Plavic Mali several times and really like it. Grant and Angela Crandall

The American wine Society's 2021 national tasting project featured Croatian Wines. Our Chapter and the National Conference featured the Croatian wines. Also various distributors have featured them around the DC area.
